I think I might as well follow you on this one since I have moved to joomla 2.5. The admin layout is terrible and radio buttons are out of focus. Plus, no cron job, while it used to support it 3 years ago when I used it.

I do not know what this company is doing, but I think they'd better close down if they cannot keep up. I wish the developper could at least keep us informed about the roadmap with a schedule.

As you all noticed that Feed2Post is not at all working on Joomla 1.7 and 2.5 so:

- I requested a complet refund

- I contacted Paypal to block the user from receiving orders

- I contacted Joomla.org to remove the Feed2Post record from the extensions directory.

This product is just a big shame, i found FeedGator that is woking well with Joomla 1.7 and 2.5 http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/social-web/social-edition/automatic-articles/13573

Installed the latest version available for download and its completely useless (-1 star from jed), cannot add new feeds, clicking new simply takes you back to the sites control panel, clciking save anywhere also takes you back to the sites control panel.

Emailed for support twice already, first time the support mailing address provided did not exist, the 2nd one is still awaiting reply (-1 star from JED).

At present I am extremely unimpressed with this component, I would of expected far better testing from the developers, bugs are unerstandable, but this component servs one purpose and thats the only thing that does not work.

Do not post on the JED that 2.5 is supported when you clearly have never even bothered to install it on 2.5

1) Read more link resolves back to self. There is no iframe or new window to article.

2) Contents of articles is missing when I click read more...

3) Link to image file works but links to read more don'tSee what I mean copy paste this link here:

I have tried to contact you though support but I have not got a reply; I don't even know if the contact page works as it doesnt tell you if the message was sent.

I purchased Feed2Post, got no download link in my email (No, not in my spam either). My order still shows as pending, and my emails to support have gone unanswered.

Ok the upgrade did remove my original feeds.

But I got the feeds to import when I removed the  negative keywords I was using. i was using commas to separate keywords.  perhaps that was the issue.

It is seeming to work well now, other than the publish date being TOMORROW so i cant exactly see the results until then. but i can live with a small delay such as this.

I upgraded from 2.7.3 to 2.8.0

I lost all my feeds it appears. I tried to install OVER the old. no success. So i uninstalled and reinstalled. Now i have no feeds.

I have recreated a feed http://louisville.craigslist.org/thp/index.rss  and it will not show any items. No errors, but no items either. My other similar component, does pull the feed. So i know the feed works.

Maybe im missing something here.

At the source subject looks like this Žalili se na uništenu sobu but when it gets posted on my web page the subject looks like this

So even though on source everything looks fine on my web page feed2post cannot show croatian letters č,ć,đ,ž,š...

How can I fix this issue?

To remove the link to the original article, you must set the “include link to original” to “No” (it’s inside the component configuration options)

Cut at tag: It’s similar to Cut a length, but instead of truncate in an amount of characters, it uses the first appearence of the entered tag

I'm not sure what may be the problem, but would greatly appreciate any help in getting rid of the errors.

I'm running F2P 2.8.0 and Joomla 1.5.20. I also have JomSocial 1.8.5.

We want to take only title and want user click the title it must go to the real site? For example when we clicked post all it must bring only titles and when on front page we click that title link must go to its site that article token??? Please help??
