Hi, just downloaded your product and it looks great so far.  I just have a few concerns.

1.  When importing articles, I select "Store Author: As Author Alias"  but it doesn't seem to be working.

2.  Some of the feeds I'm importing have articles with video(youtube) embedded content.  Is there a way to import that embedded content as well??

3.  And lastly, when using the iFrame feature, how can I make it so it doesn't open the original article in the layout that has all the modules that load up on the my DefaultHome layout?

Basically I have a set of modules set to show up only on my Home layout, but for some reason when I click on "Read Full Article" while using the iFrame feature, it opens up the iFrame in that Home Layout.

Hi Mike! Thanks for your input!
About the first point, please verify that the author information be include on the source rss feed
2-Feed2post creates an article with the feed text and the link as it is on the rss feed, do you want to save a copy of the video or just want to know if the video could be view inside the created article?
3- If you need that the "Read Full Article" be open in a new blank window, you must set the "Open readmore link at iframe" option to "no".
If your doubt is not solved, feel free to send us an email to support at feed2post dot com containig more details or examples to be able to help you.
Regards

Yes, the authors are in the feed.  they're actually recorded in the article and displayed at the bottom.  Author: John Smith.

However, they're not being stored in the AuthorAlias.  So at the top of the article is says "Written by admin"  instead of "Written by John Smith.

-Regarding the video,  I wanted to have the embedded videos stay in the article, much like how google reader does  when you "share" an article from your google reader feed.

-About the iFrame, it's not that i want to open the article in a whole new tab, but rather, open the original article with all the modules that naturally show up in that section, not with all the modules that show up with the default home page.

Hi! What is showing, is what you've selected on Post as User. If you want to show the author name on the post, you've to select the option STORE AUTHOR: AS Text. If you set STORE AUTHOR as ArticleAuthor alias, the author will be saved on the article as it's shown on the attached image

Hi, yes, I believe I set it to that.  here are some screenshots.   I set it to Store Author as Alias. I checked the imported article and AuthorAlias is left blank. However, it is saved as Text at the bottom of the article.

it seems your board won't let me upload the screenshot... :\
